Camping At Duck Creek
We left to go up to Duck Creek on Thursday afternoon. And got up there about 4:30. My parents and Nicole and Hailee were going to come on Friday and meet us up om the Mountain. It was pretty nice when we got there, then it started to rain. But it felt alot better then 104 degree St. George heat.... that is for sure! Kody found us this nice camping site out and away from the road. We were hidin, which was nice..... so no one knew we were there. The closest camp site was like a mile away, and no one was camping there! So we set up camp, then went 4-wheelin for a little bit, then cooked some hot dogs. Hung out a little bit then went to bed. We waited for my parents to get there all day on Friday..... we were kind of worried about them, they didn't end up getting there until almost 7.

I forgot about this picture so it is out of order.(Sorry) Mom, Nicole, and Dad in the back of Kodys truck on the 4 of July.

Kash and his mommy. Kash eating licorice.... he was lovin it! It is also Kashs 1st camping trip. He also got his 3 tooth... So he was a little bit fussy.

Kash on his first 4- wheeler ride. We took him up the road a little ways.

My 3 boys and I.

Cameron riding with his Daddy. Cams 4 wheeler isn't working so he rode with dad.

We found this Caterpillar on My shirt, so I showed the boys, And Chase thought it was the neatest thing. But Cam would not hold it.

Chase riddin his 4- Wheeler he got for his Birthday.

Chase loves to pose on his 4-wheeler! How cute!

Chase giving His brother a ride. How nice!

Making silly Faces.

Kody saw these 5 Antelope, they were in the field were we were camping. The noise of the 4-wheelers didn't seem to bother them. They sat there for about 30 min. It was pretty neat being that close to them.

Kody, Chase, Haliee and my Mom and Dad decided to go to the Mammoth Caves on Sat. Nicole and I stayed back at camp because Kash was asleep. Kody had some glow sticks so he gave them to the kids. Hailee was scared to go in at first. But she finally did it.

Some random pictures of Kash.

Waiting for the 4 of July parade at Duck Creek.

Some of the floats in the Parade. Most of them were 4-wheelers.... but the kids had fun waiting for them to throw out the candy.

They had a hula hop contest. And Chase thought he had to get out there and try it out. He did a pretty good job for his fist time. He even won a Gold dollar.

This is were they did the Fire works. My mom and me thought they were going to have these big old fire works.....But no, they had the ones that you can buy like from wal-mart, that you do in your front yard. It was kind off lame. But the kids had a good time. We didn't stay the whole time, because they had the Fireman do it, and they were lighting 1 at a time... it was taking forever!!!

Fire Works.

The view from looking out on Cascade Falls,

Taking a rest, while we were hiking up to Cascade Falls. My dad has been, so he thought we would enjoy seeing it. Except the trail was closed , because part of it was washed out. But people were still hiking it... so we decided to do it to. I felt bad for Kody, because he carried his backpack and Kash the whole time. Some of the trail got a little scary, but we made it!

Grandpa and Cam, Kody recording the Falls.

Family Pic.

My Dad took us to this Ice Cave were there is still snow in it, and it never melts.
It was pretty cold down in that cave. But the kids had a good time throwing some snowballs and Grandma and Grandpa up above.

Just hanging out around the camp fire, waiting for Kodys famous Peach cobbler to get done. The Kids had picked up trash earlier around the Campsite, so Kody said he had a treat for them.... well it turned out to be the left over cake batter in the bowl. They kids loved it.
I think every one had a great time camping.
