Memorial Day....

First we went to the Cemetery in Ogden to go to my Grandpa Allphins grave... My moms dad...I didn't get to know him very well, I was almost 4 when he died... All I remember about him is that he had tubes coming out of his nose:( he had emphysema..and never smoked a day in his life... He was only 59... I wish I could of gotten to know him better! We all miss you Grandpa Reuben Gene! And I also miss Kody's brother Jeffrey... I know the boys would love to go and hang out with him all the time..especially Chase!

Then we went and ate sloppy joes and yummy salads, brownies and carrot cake! Then off to go swimming at my Aunt Shanna's pool! It was such a nice day! The boys had alot of fun!

My cousin Josh and his Wife Dana are expected there first baby..of course a girl name Bella Joann! She got alot of cute stuff! We are so happy for the 2 of you! Her hubby is going to Law School..so they are here for the summer.

Chases Kindergarten Graduation:)

I cant believe my baby is 6, and will be a 1st grader next year!..The time did fly this year...Chase has learned so much since he entered kindergarten in Aug.... His teacher told me that he would know how to read by the end of the year...and I didn't really think he would..but he can read! He can do math problems, like add and subtract! I am so proud of him! He got a award for turning in all his home work, and one from the Principal for Perfect Attendance!! The kindergartners did this little program for us..it was so cute! Chase actually knew most of the words! And they sang this little poem at the very end.

We add, subtract, and read all the time.

We know many shapes and can tell time,

Plus opposites and words that rhyme.

That night Chase was sitting up on his bed looking at his yearbook... and I noticed he was crying...I asked him why?..and he said he misses his Teacher! It was so sad to see him like that!

She was such a great teacher..hopefully he gets a great teacher next year!

Mrs. Bastian..Chase just loved having her as a teacher!!
